All pistons are measured in 3 ways. Please click on “View more images” for a diagram of a piston showing the areas we have measured.
<!--
[if !supportLists]
--> 1) <!--
[endif]
--> Compression Height (CH) is measured from the center of the wrist pin chamber to the surface edge of the piston.
<!--
[if !supportLists]
--> 2) <!--
[endif]
--> Piston Height (PH) is measured from the bottom skirt of the piston to the surface edge of the piston.
<!--
[if !supportLists]
--> 3) <!--
[endif]
--> Piston Diameter (PD) is measured on the collar closest to the surface edge of the piston.
Note: The “dome” area of the piston is not included in any measurement however the “dome” area does effect the displacement of the engine.
Before ordering any piston you will need to verify that the piston you are replacing matches the 3 measurements above.
